We have enjoyed many days and nights at the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel. We had to drive several hours back home after working all day and driving in for the weekend, arriving home in the early morning hours. There were none to be found due to the holiday. At 12:40am, my wife and I tried to find a room at other respectful hotels. At no time did I raise my voice or speak inappropriately. (Even though I was told minutes before there were no rooms available.) I am a veteran and have respiratory issues, and I explained this to her. I spoke with her for a few minutes and was told they could give me a smoking room. After a wait, a woman came and spoke with me. After speaking with the employee for a while, I asked for a supervisor. We were told by check in that they did not have a room for us.
We arrived a little before 11:00 pm, unloaded our luggage and went to check in. We requested a non smoking room and let them know that we would drive in after work and arrive about 11:00pm. We received a phone call alerting us that we were invited to stay free at the Horseshoe Bossier City for Valentines night.
